London Alternative Market – Discussion and Reading

London Alternative Market is a monthly fixture of the kink/BDSM and fetish community and represents a broad audience of various demographics, many people travel from surrounding areas to attend the market. Both workshop discussions featured an introduction to the project, readings from stories and discussions that ranged across coming out stories, workplace discrimination, racism within the scene, how people found their way to the scene, what experiences of early self-discovery people had, how communities and communication has change pre- and post- internet, the kink community as a place to process trauma.
