DIY History Workshop – Sex Work and Disability
Too often we hear about disabled clients. But what about sex workers who are disabled? On a cold winter afternoon, five disabled sex workers got together in the living room of one of them to discuss our lives and work. It was hard to find a good time that we could all do, a safe private venue, and some people had to cancel due to their health. Despite our difficulties getting together, we felt a massive sense of community and understanding from each other and had a recorded discussion, which was later transcribed.
