Arcola Participation is Arcola’s community, youth and schools programme.

Each year we offer over 13,000 opportunities for the people of Hackney, East and North East London to participate in the arts. We are committed to challenging assumptions about what youth and community theatre can (and should) be, while providing opportunities to learn, train and perform under the guidance of world-class artists. We aim to deliver high-quality productions that resonate both locally and globally, whilst maintaining Arcola’s welcoming and inclusive ethos.

Jet Moon is a writer, performer, director and activist producing politically engaged creative work. Jet produces events, works and collaborations that push for change, re-evaluation and empowerment. Jet is the founder of the Resilient & Resisting Organisation.

Resilient & Resisting is a collaboration between groups and individuals, with artist/activist Jet Moon, produced with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Arcola Participation. Fierce, intimate oral histories, collaborative stories, D.I.Y. research and interviews from people at the intersection of several kinds of marginalisation.
